Basically I'm very pleased with my current setup although its a lot of kit in a small space so set up is a bit compromised.
The system also has an hidden td eclipse subwoofer and is fully tweaked using shun mook (to Help with the room)
Isolation provided by Stillpoints and Eban ceramic coldrays.
Hifi Rack and speaker stands are both made by something solid.
I also use an Russ Andrews purifier block and super purifier plug in. with a full compliment of r.andrews power cables.
My cables are:
Chord Signature interconnects - cd player and Whest Audio kit.
Analysis Plus Silver Oval - tuner.
Speaker cable is Towenshend dct.
Basically the room is small and difficult due to weird shape and floating floorboards but I believe I've reached a point were I'm satisfied with my system and in the next year hoping to move to a larger property.
The system is v natural with good timing loads of detail and always seems to flow musically not matter what the recording is. However it does show up short comings bright recordings and compression but in a way that it's still listenable.
CD player Moon Nova mod Shun Mook mini disks inside and internal damped also the transport as been put on titanium vibration drains so all vibes are pulled away and earthed on the bottom of the casing. This sits on 3 Stillpoints. The Nova is hooked up to an Whest Audio DAP 10 by Chord Sig.
Turntable Michell Gyro se with orb platter upgrade tecno arm (dct treated) and music maker cart. resting on an audio base platform. the arm board has 3 Shun Mook disc's to help as well. Power supply is Michell HR.
Phono stage Whest Audio ps.20 + msu.20 sitting on wood.
Magnum Dyna 90t lab tuner Shun Mook and tube ring internal tweaks, sitting on Stillpoints and using Analysis Plus interconnect.
Musical Fidelity A5 pre sat on Stillpoints and has yet to be tweaked!
Musical Fidelity A5 power sitting on solid oak chopping board on RDC 2 cones to the floor plus Eban Coldrays directly under the amp.
Subwoofer sits on sunken paving slab and is connected using an Slinkylink interconnect.
Musical listening habits are jazz and abient progressive electronica simply acoustic and vocals with the odd bit of everything else thrown in!
